“After Jesus and Rock n’ Roll, couldn’t save my immoral soul well, I’ve got nothing left to lose”
At a first glance, Angel might seem like your stereotypical high school rebel. She’s everything her name is not; sex, drugs and rock n’ roll all washed down with a hefty glass of alcohol. She knows how to party and how to go at it hard. But more than just your typical rock music enthusiast, she’s a singer, an aspiring musician with a wonderful voice. Being a talented singer she managed to form a band with some of the local boys with whom she tries to perform wherever and whenever she can. Angel doesn’t make any effort to hide the fact she likes to live on the wild side. When she’s not jamming with the band, she can usually be found at parties, flirting up a storm or sleeping in class to do so. She lost her virginity a long time ago and is perceived as eccentric by most of the town’s population with how open she is about her sexuality. Gender is the least of her concerns, she just likes to hook up with graced hotties.
Some might think that she’s just edgy, a rebel without a cause and while it is true she has a lot of anger, she usually expresses it in her music, rather than getting in actual fights. She’s quick-tempered but fairly laid-back, and she’s actually rather friendly with most people, preferring not to pass judgment over the preppier, more uptight individuals. She knows everyone’s little secrets, because underneath her spacey exterior, lies a very cunning and attentive little fox… Quite literally. Perhaps that is why she refrains from being judgmental, (except of Brandon), as she knows that she herself could be judged for this secret not to mention the other one. Her mother died when she was young, killed by a poacher, Brandon’s father and nourishes a profound hatred for Brandon after realizing what his father did and what he himself does today. When her mother died, her father began wasting away and stayed in his human form for too long, turning in to a deranged alcoholic, which is the real reason Angel avoid being home as much as she can.
Angel plans to try and find a way to sell Brandon out to the cops or the journalists by seducing him and trying to get him to make a mistake at some point. The question is, will her need for revenge exceed her compassion?
“I’m a fucking bitch. That’s what people say. What they don’t know is that I care about my family and friend above anything.”
Isabelle, being the eldest of the Reed family, is the beta female alongside her half-brother, Alec. She’s the second in command and people will always do whatever she wants them to. They respect her because even though she’s already twenty-five and has no mate, Isabelle has earned the respect by being a very good beta. She’s strict, yet understanding at the same time, acting as somewhat of a mother to her family and playing a very big influence in her father’s decisions. Isabelle’s wise and even though she might not be as intelligent as her younger sister Jane, she has the gift of being able to get very close to humans, being the one who has better control over her emotions and more capable of behaving like one of them, understanding pretty much everything about their behavior and their rules. Being the eldest of the family was never easy for her, but she accepted that task and took care of Jane when their mother died, of Emily now Matt has been banished and is Johnny’s support, whenever he decides to behave as if he had a family. Both cousins used to be very close but as Johnny pushed away his family, Isabelle wasn’t an exception. When Alec found them, she was reluctant at first and didn’t really accept him, until she heard his story and figured out that it wasn’t Alec’s fault her father had chosen a new mate and is always very protective of him, not liking the way humans treat him.
Isabelle and Jane are somewhat the golden girls of Tala Springs, beautiful, smart and with that wild aura that surrounds all of the graced animals, which seems to draw male humans towards them and most of the time both sisters have a good time pushing them away, not interested in humans at all and not wanting to break to rules of the pack. Isabelle, along with Jane and her best friend Annabelle, run the local clothing store, it’s the one thing she loves and she only wishes she could leave with Annabelle if her friend ever decided to leave Tala Springs. In fact, Izzy, a nickname she hates with a fiery passion, is a model but she’s not capable of leave the pack so she can only do so at a local scale. It’s not the fact that she can’t leave the pack, it’s her life and her family, she has responsibilities and leaving them would go against everything she believes in. Not to mention, she knows how much Emily and Alec need her since her father is very oblivious to some issues the family deals with, especially when it comes to Matt, Emily’s brother.
Being a very strong and determined person, qualities she inherited from both her father and her mother, Isabelle feels very confused by the internal division she’s going through. She loves the town and her family with all of her heart, she would do anything for them, but at the same time she also wants to have a life of her own. Even if it means going against her true nature, she knows that if she ever left, she would regret it her entire life. However, not giving it a shot and leaving for some time would result in the same consequences. What Isabelle doesn’t know is that what she really wants is to have both things and that her pack means more to her than any other dream. Maybe being away from her family for a few months would help her figure that out. Maybe she’s just too used of people looking up to her constantly or coming to her for help, because no matter what, she’s always willing to do so. Underneath the bitchy façade, she’s in fact a very sweet girl.
