The Riker sisters are known around town as “the beautiful pair”, and they not only live up to the name, they exceed it. Both girls are show-stoppers all around, and not just in that small town way. They would attract attention anywhere they went. Fawn is the younger of the two sisters and to this day the hardest to get. Perhaps because they work in completely different manners. It hasn’t always been this way mind you, when Fawn was a teenager she was as innocent and naive as the proverbial doe. Her heart fluttered fast for Jay Liamson and, like many human girls, let alone young graced, didn’t know any better. So naturally when he convinced her to a bed, she gave him her body… Along with her heart. And the bastard gladly took both, enjoying a feast fit for a king. But as with most teenage boys he was incapable of appreciating his luck, and he soon took off, never giving her anything in return. Fawn was left heartbroken and deeply shaken by her first brush with romance and it changed her. For a long time she nourished a pretty bad depression, and had her sister not been there to nurse her, who knows where she’d be today.
When she eventually got over it a smile found its way to her lips once more, but deep down she never quite recovered, not wanting to open up her heart to anyone just yet. It opened up her eyes to what most boys want, and while she remains charming, at times even taking advantage of it, she never lets them anywhere near her body… or her heart. In fact at times she even enjoys toying with them, just like she was cruelly toyed with, the difference being she never leads them on to that same point. Nonetheless she is a real tease. She is qualified to work as a nurse, helping out her sister at the clinic as well as in the high school. This is only temporary as she is on her way to become a doctor like Charlotte. She’s courteous with most graced, and works her charm like a magician with humans, but usually sticks to her own kind as far as emotional closeness goes. She is weary and suspicious of newcomers and strangers.
Her desire to be a doctor and to hold up a position as a nurse doesn’t just come from family tradition or following in her sister’s footsteps. She genuinely does have a nurturing and protective soul towards the young and the defenseless, which is eventually what started to draw her to Neve, who in spite of being only three years younger still strikes her as a… fawn. There is also the fact the key doe is simply too adorable both as a human and a deer. She’s the first of her kind that Fawn has met and didn’t know it was possible for a grown deer to be that small, being not much larger than a white-tailed deer young, which naturally triggers her protective and nurturing instincts.
