Description/Plot

The first plot, the brief sidebar description gives enough insight into the roleplay to leave the potential roleplayer easily wanting more, interested and urging them to continue on to the full plot which is even more interesting. It then goes into detail about the history of the setting which would be considered vital information. I have to say that I really do love the entire idea of it where you have brought animals into a roleplay, something that I have yet to have seen it been done successfully and by the looks of it, you are doing a great job at doing so. I could go on for a long time about how original and great it is but I think I’d get a little repetitive.

Graphics

The graphics here are simply fantastic, from the sidebar image which has been seamlessly blended into the sidebar to each and every admin post that looks beautiful along with the promo graphics and everything really just could not be improved on whatsoever. No criticisms whatsoever.

Bios and FC’s

The FC’s you have used so far I could not love more as some of them are ones that I simply adore, but personal reasons aside I think your choices so far are definitely suited to your roleplay, match well and just make the roleplay look that little bit better. The bios go well into detail about the character and also include a quote from them which include an insight to the characters as well as the layout and points about them which all contain important information about them. The way that you have laid out the information looks great and easy to read as well as that you have included all necessary information that the roleplayer would need to know about the character.

Theme

The theme that you have used works great with the graphics and is really easy to navigate, looks simplistic which is something every roleplay should have. One of my favourite themes that I like to use. The colours work amazingly well together, have absolutely no criticisms here either.

Overall

This is officially my first perfect review and I am not surprised it is for this Roleplay. I suggest everyone who hasn’t yet to go and immediately check out this flawless roleplay and considering applying. There was not a single criticism I could find and would definitely recommend this to others and would most definitely look into applying in the future.

Again, my typical disclaimer:  By no means am I an expert in reviewing roleplays or anything of the like.  Everything I state is solely my opinion and should only be taken as such.  

Sidebar Description:

It’s a personal thing of mine to look through the sidebar - it gives me a brief run-through of what this roleplay is about.  What I’ve gotten from is that it takes place in Tala Springs, Florida and there’s mystical lore relating animals and people together - already, it sounds pretty cool.  Kudos for having your sidebar give a good gist of the roleplay;  enough to whet the appetite and catch people’s attention without giving away everything.

Full Plot:

I see you’ve used Native American lore.  Bravo.  Native American lore and history always interests me, personally.  It’s so enchanting and magical.  So, I’m already excited to read the rest of this.  Plus, this is one of the first roleplays I’ve seen that has utilized Native American lore;  kudos.  Correct me if I’m wrong, but there’s a minor error: “how they were willing to leave in peace with them” - should it not be ‘live’?  Again, if I’m wrong, ignore this little note.

I’m loving the detail work you’ve put into explaining the different groups.  The extra details on the Graced is fantastic.  I’m impressed that you linked all of the animals to articles - I’m a nerd and I love being able to learn even more about important aspects to the roleplay, so major props for it.  I had a lot of fun going through your explanations for the different groups though.  It was interesting.  Anything that’s interesting is a very good sign in capturing a potential roleplayer.

Rules and Application form:

This is the first time I’ve seen the rules and application for bunched up together.  It’s not a bad thing.  It works fast and gets two things done at once.  Plus since they’re both at the submit form, it ensures that players will definitely read the rules.  Smart move.

The rules are simple, easy to enforce and even easier to follow.  No complaints about it there.  As long as the rules are understandable and easy to read, you’ve got all my praise.

The Application is the basic standard.  Gets the job done, which is always a good thing.  This part “Describe de character with your own words” is always my favorite.  It makes your potential players dive into the characters and write something about them that really sticks.  Good job on your part for putting that.  I’m also surprised that you’ve asked for a past RP blog - that’s new and different as well as a smart way to check up on players’ RP past.

Characters:

Exceptionally written biographies.  You’ve got the quotation from the start - that gives off a lot about a character right off the bat.  After that, you’ve followed with bullet-points on the basics - always a good thing to emphasize the basics.  Then, you’ve written three paragraphs of beautiful information on each character - not too long, just the right amount with personality, history and other information.  After that, you’ve even added another set of bullet points to emphasize their past and present relationships.  Major approval from me.  I’m a person who craves for details and you’ve managed to provide a good amount.  Just going through your biographies, I can already imagine different scenarios with each character’s interactions.  Awesome job for that.

You’ve got an update list for upcoming characters.  That’s a fantastic idea to have for a roleplay.  It keeps people up to date while generating interest.  Awesome thing to have for lurkers to become potential members!

I noticed that the author of The Howling Heart has featured you on her blog.  That’s the biggest compliment that anyone - roleplay, person, whatever - could ever have.  So, major, major props.  That’s just indescribable.  Congrats on that, honest.  

This roleplay has a ton to offer anyone who wants to join.  It’s also one of the first roleplays on tumblr I’ve seen play with the whole animal aspect.  I see it a lot on forums, but hardly on tumblr.  Actually, going through this roleplay had a lot of firsts that I’ve seen on tumblr.  So, that’s a really a good thing.  I see you’re looking for a co-admin.  I think someone should totally help with this because I feel like this roleplay is going to be big.  It has a lot of potential.
